Strange Remedy
One always thinks of rest-ice-biofreeze as the normal healing aids for the issues that arise from being a marathon runner and triathlete. After a week of wearing a boot to limit the movement of my achilles tendon, I decided to try something new. It is an ointment used on race horses tendons. I thought why not, worse thing than can happen is I have one leg faster than the other. I put it on before going to bed, added a sock to keep the ointment on my foot and not the bed. I got out of the bed today and walked pain free!!! Its crazy I tell you but it worked. I even ran three miles today. Sure it is not 100% but going from hobbling to the bed to getting up and walking normal and pain free is amazing. Just call me sea-biscuit
